Project Partner Kick-Off MeetingDate: November 3, 2005 Time: 1:30p.m. Location: 8MBA Offices The project kick off meeting provided an opportunity for project partners and LIAA to discuss the define the project. Participants were also provided background information about the Partnershisp for Change Program.
Project Partner Meeting TwoDate: November 28, 2005 Time: 8:00a.m. Location 8BMA Offices The second project meeting provided project participants another opportunity to further discuss and define the project. Project partners also participated in a informative 8-Mile Boulevard bus tour.
Project Partner Meeting ThreeDate: December 14, 2005 Time: 1:30p.m Location: 8MBA offices The third projct partner meeting provided project partners an opportunity to discuss and review several work plan options. The meeting also provided an opportunity for project partners to discuss any issues or concerns related to the project
Project Partner Meeting FourDate: January 25, 2006 Time: 1:30 Location: 8MBA Offices The fourth project meeting provided an opportunity for project participants to discuss and refine, in detail, the Education and Enforcement Work Plan Option and next steps of the planning process. In addition, LIAA provided a power-point presentation on the "keeper" management concept.
Partner Project Meeting FiveDate: February 22, 2006 Time: 1:30 p.m. Location: 8MBA Offices The fifth project meeting provided project partners a summary of the code enforcement interviews. In addition, participants discuss the implication of specific code enforcement citations along 8-Mile. Project participants agreed to provide LIAA with specifc code langauge pertaining to property maintence codes, and rank the significance of specifc code citations. Project Partner Meeting SixDate: March 22, 2006 Time: 1:30 p.m. Location: 8MBA Offices At the sixth project partner meeting, project partners were asked to vote and identify which property maintenance issues are most important in their jurisdiction. (Please see the meeting minutes for the results.) In addition, project partners began to outline several key components of the Corridor keeper" position.
Project Partner Meeting SevenDate: April 26, 2006 Time: 1:30PM Location: 8MBA Offices The seventh project partner meeting provided project partners an opportunity to discuss and outline, in depth, the the procedural components of the "Corridor Keeper" position. In addition, project partners were provided a "Missing Code Citation handout" (see attachment). The handout provides a list of the specific code citations that are still needed. Please take a moment to review this list and provide any additional information to Tami and Susie.
Project Partner Meeting EightDate: May 24, 2006 Time: 1:30 Location: 8MBA Offices The eighth project partner meeting provided participants an opportunity to fine tune the procedural and administrative components of the Corridor Keeper Program. The meeting also included a presentation by Chris Trout of Consulting Engineering Associates on a potential GIS Code Enforcement Tracking System. Participants also discussed procedures for presenting the program to key community stakeholders, the 8MBA Board and the Boards/Councils of each participating jurisdiction.

The community meeting will provide area residents, business owners and interested citizens an opportunity to learn more the proposed "Corridor Keeper" program. Comments and suggestions will be welcome.
Project Partner Meeting Nine Date: August 23, 2006 Time: 1:30 Location: Guardian Alarm Building
This meeting provided project partners an opportunity to discuss the implementation of the Corridor Keeper Program. Project partners reviewed the updated project work plan, discussed getting resolutions of support and reviewed materials for the Corridor Keeper Manual and Community Assistance Guidebook. Among other things participants agreed to complte:
1. A review of the printed out (word for word) code/ordinance of the nine selected code enforcement items. We want to be sure we put together the right codes from the materials we have received. Susie has a copy of the printed out materials for the jurisdictions that were not present.
2. Review the "What's Needed" handout. We will need the full (word for word) code/ordinance for those codes that we do not have yet (see handout) A summary of the assistance programs that are available through each jurisdiction (i.e. what they are, what they offer, when they are used, contacts, community organizations etc.) A summary of education opportunities that each jurisdiction provides. (pamphlets, neighborhood meetings, etc.)
3. Review the Corridor Keeper "Manual" and "Community Assistance Guidebook" outline handout Let us know if we are missing anything or their is information that you would like added/eliminated.
4. Review the "contact" sheet. Let us now if we have names addresses, phone/fax numbers correct Indicate the point person from each jurisdiction
5. Develop a maximum (2) two page summary of the nine selected code enforcement items (i.e. definition, most important aspects, etc.) This will be something that will be passed out to each jurisdiction in the Community Assistance Guidebook
We would love to have responses back as soon as possible. However, we will anticipate getting responses at the next meeting. We will plan on having a draft mockup of the Manual and Guidebook for the next meeting.
We have also recently emailed a draft resolution for your review. The resolution will need to be altered to accomodate each jurisdiction.
