Past Participation Opportunities

Goals, Objectives and Strategies Meeting

On June 18, 2009 everyone was invited to participate in the Steering Committee Meeting where we discussed the Plan's draft Goals, Objectives, and Strategies.  At this meeting, participants were invited to provide both written and verbal comments.  Currently, the Goals, Objectives, and Strategies are being revised based on this feedback.

Visioning Survey

Earlier this year, a follow-up survey to the public meetings was distributed at various locations throughout the County and available online.  We received over 120 responses to the survey.  Click here for the results.

Bob Dixson Presentation

Bob Dixson, Mayor of Greensburg, Kansas, presented at Alma College on March 18, 2009.  In 2007 the Greensburg was destroyed by an F-5 tornado.  Mayor Dixson's presentation focused on the efforts of the Greensburg community to rebuild their city with an unprecedented commitment to energy efficient technology and policy.

The event was sponsored by the Center for Responsible Leadership and Environmental Studies Program at Alma College and Greater Gratiot Development.
