Under a PfC small-scale grant, Suttons Bay Township and the Village of Suttons Bay formed a Joint Planning Commission and are in the process of completing a Joint Master Plan.

With an additional Partnerships for Change award, the group intends to develop a Joint Zoning Ordinance that will apply form-based concepts to both the village center and rural areas of the community.
